I’ve been playing around with the changes in game, and have noticed that the global cooldown is NOT working as stated. Right now, I have grenade kit, flamethrower, and tool kit equipped. I can use ALL of the refinements, so long as I used flamethrower last.

For example, if I use tool kit > grenade kit > flamethrower, I get all of the effects before the cd applies.

If I use grenade kit > flamethrower > tool kit, I won’t get the tool kit effect.

If I start with flamethrower, I don’t get any of the other effects.

I haven’t had a chance to test the other kits yet, but I find this interesting.

EDIT: Elixir gun works the same way as flamethrower, unfortunately. Turns out the most common kit combo has the only kits that trigger the global cds.

EDIT 2: Also, jumping while changing kits does activate the global cd if the kit is flamethrower or elixir gun, but doesn’t trigger the effects.

I’ve seen it suggested that the trait doesn’t have a global cooldown, but a kit-by-kit one. Even so, sounds like something’s wonky with the Flamethrower and Elixir Gun.

If this is true this might of nerfed a build I haven’t even tried yet. Which stacks might in the flamethrower and then use the double grenade barrage. Im sad I never got to testing that build now.

you can’t use anymore grande kit doesnt have the global cool down, they messed up and gave it to bomb kit

I´ve also done some testing and foudn that only elixier gun, grenade kit and flamethrower are affected by the internal cooldown, while bombkit´s kit refinement now has a 10 second cd. But it still doesnt seem to applay the inetrnal cooldown.

That means that the 08/15 10 nades combo with the toolkit pull and burst is still viable.

It’s effected by it, and so is the med kit, but it doesn’t trigger the global cd.
