Guild Wars 2

I know there have been a ton of topics about being able to hide your backpieces, and I really want to be able to do this. Yesterday I was doing the Golem event and standing off to the side throwing grenades, there was an engineer right next to me doing the same, but he didn’t have the grenade kit on his back. When I saw this I thought “oh cool, there must be a way to hide backpieces now” I searched the internet and could find nothing. I wish I had asked him how he did it, but I didn’t. Anyway my question is, how is this done, or am I somehow seeing things?

It doesn’t always render.

if you go into a kit and use a skill of the kit, the normal backpiece and the kit backpiece are shown. so if your normal backpiece is big enough, like the one from the zepharyte living story, then you see it.
at least that is my experience. hope that helps

thanks, this dude didn’t have anything at all on his back. I guess it just didn’t render. sigh maybe someday.

I just want to be able to use all my new back skins for each kit… The TA one for my elixir gun, yellow SAB for my tool kit, and the green SAB for my bomb kit. Who know what other awesome skins will be available in the future!
