Kit channelled skills inconsistency
If you switch back to your weapon by using your normal weapon swap button it cancels the cast, but if you switch by dropping the kit using your utility drop kit button it doesn’t.
No explanation on how it works but it makes the engie quite a handful when it comes to the crazy amount of things they can do at one time.

Dirame’s patented, trademarked BoBomber Burst build uses precisely this lesser known feature of Kits.
Big Ol’ Bomb → Magnet Pull → Drop Tool Kit → Queue Rifle 5 where target will end up → other burst damage skills = deleted from the face of Tyria.
Other combos include:
Elixir Gun Fumigate → Drop Elixir Gun kit → Rifle Net Shot. The mist hides the skillshot so it’s useful when your opponent still has dodges.
Tool Kit Gear Shield → Drop Tool Kit → Static Shield. Queue your blocks for more blockiness. People will often be watching for your Gear Shield to disappear, only to spam their skills into Static Shield and get stunned. Strong against Melee opponents.
Big Ol’ Bomb → 180 turn → Equip Elixir Gun → Elixir Gun Acid Bomb → Drop Elixir Gun → Rifle Overcharged Shot. Your OC-shot will fire as soon as you touch the ground. Execute against opponents at 600-700 range without Stability or Immobilise. Maximum #swag and style points if you pull it off. Finish with animation canceled Jump Shot → Blunderbuss. If you are concerned that this combo will not finish the fight, stunbreak the Overcharged Shot self-knockback with Elixir Gun Healing Mist to queue up more skills.

It’s actually pretty consistent through the whole game:
Weapon swap/dropping environmental weapons/kits: cancels any channeled skill / casts
Using instant skills (like kits): executing the skill without interrupting current channels / casts (with some exceptions, like Blinding Power afaik).
