Hello,
I am an 80 engineer and Recently started going for legendary I wouldn’t mind going for any of the four legendarys that the engineer is able to wear.But I want to ask you which legendary would you go for as an engineer and why?
Help me decide which to go for,
The Flameseekeer Prophecies,
The Predator,
Quip or
Frenzy

I made a predator a month ago and already on my engineer
Actually after I finished the predator I had considered put on engineer or warrior since thats a rifle and engineer use hip shot all the time, warrior use aim shot is more matching
But finally I decided on engineer by below reasons

1, Engineer have not much choice, only rifle , pistol and shield
2, Warrior doesn’t have belt skill throwing effect with predator
3, engineers need love

And my opinion is anet should change the engineer animation to aim shot

Also let engineer have a new melee choice maybe mace?

Ye I wouldn’t mind new weapon choice maybe hammer or mace that works like the toolkit
The predator has different animation to grenade barrage but also to a warrior skill, I thought rifle was meant for engineer mostly

Until they either let your legendary keep the ‘legendary’ status upon transmuting, or give it berserker stats, I wouldn’t shoot for a legendary yet. Especially since engineer pistol is awful for PvE, and rifle will only be pulled out for intermittent periods to use blunderbuss and jump shot. You could use a static discharge build, which isn’t too bad, but it’s also not that amazing either compared to the kit juggling build.

Engineers can build anything really and I know a few people that have transmuted legendarys but I know i won’t do that it’s an achievement people will know you for

none of them appeal to me.

The rifle is… not a shotgun
The shield is VERY guardian centered
And the pistol is just silly looking.

honestly i feel that getting a legendary on a engy is the worst class you can put one on bcuz a lot of the time we have our hobo sack kits out
