Hi guys I have a small tweak what can help.
Afaik everyone has sometime problem to find cursor on screen especialy if there are many effects and fight is hectic. Sometime it takes second or two than you find them and properly set it for throwing grenades for example. So I tried figure out how to make cursor more visible. Its impossible (more like bannable) trying to change orginal cursor in data file but what you can do is add another overlay to existing one in windowed full screen mode (works same like gw2stuff event overlay)

I`ve recently discover program called gw2cursor: https://github.com/fritzw/gw2-cursor what does exatly what we want. Its simply add another cursor what follow existing one. There is no interaction with client so dont worry noone will steal your stuff:-)

Point is you can very easily edit program`s overlay cursor in some editor like Photoshop and make you own. For example I made this guidelines what I see everytime no matter where cursor is (orginal cursor isnt visible on screens but its there in game in center). Very handy while you throw grenades for example:-)

Buuuuuut couldn´t get it to work.. any tips?

made a new cursor, named it cursor1.png and ran the .exe to no avail.

You must run it after you start game and it must be in windowed full screen mode.. Also if you made own cursor (especialy with different size you must edit settings.ini a bit. Open it and add there this code:

[General]
Auto Update=True
Hide Cursor While Dragging=False
Which Cursor=1
Updates Per Second=120

[Cursors]
Cursor1 Image=Str(cursor1.png)
Cursor1 Offset X=4
Cursor1 Offset Y=5

That cursor offsets depends on how big you cursor is and what is his position. For example my gudelines are for resolution 1440×900 so I must made cursor 2880×1600 and set offsets to 1440,900

There is actually a very simple solution to all OSX tech and game problems.

Step 1; toss your currently system in the trash.

Step 2; buy a PC and run windows.

i have this issue a lot with grenades. however i think that giant cross on my screen would annoy the hell out of me

Well that it fully editable you can make your own cursor
