Really enjoy the trait system in this game. it would be a shame to not add additional ones in future updates.

IMO it could make the way we build our characters change drastically and open up a lot more build versatility.

this is mostly a theory crafting type thing some ways to make the current traits less restrictive.

What If the Rifle Mod trait gave Hip Shot a 100% Projectile Finisher in addition to the 10% damage increase.

or

What if Scope Actually worked and was Kit only unlocked by selecting that trait think a “Marksman kit” or “Sniper Kit” would have its own engineer theme rifle good out to 1400? but as a trade off at least 2 of the skills only work while stationary not going to get into skill specifics.

honestly i ve lost my faith on the class , its pretty much the only class i play and love and got attached to so its a matter of time before im gone from the game . i ve had a total of 4 engis

Rezzet, if you have nothing good to add to the thread, then don’t step in and whine. I’d mail you a quarter, but I think anyone you called wouldn’t care.

Back to the the thread:

I personally would like to see traitlines more devoted to the fields of your class. This would allow you to specialize and receive benefits related to your favorite fields of play, like Gadgets, Signets, and Pets (yes, I’m also adding things related to other classes).

Personally I think turrets need to act more like pets as well. They also need to really fix how turrets target, it should always attack the person who the Engineer is attacking. Also the need to allow engineers to repair turrets at range because thumper and flame turret suck if they are going to get destroyed.

Personally I feel that the kits are just as bad of jumbled mess. Kits need to be condition damage or power not both or if the really want a middle ground for one kit that’s fine. I understand that grenades can stack conditions well, but let’s be honest in competitive play the damage is come from direct damage of #1 and toolbelt. Either give it a bleed for #1 burn for #2 and if debs think that would be to op (which it isn’t) then nerf damage. If the power crit users want a better weapon give them a power based like a sniper rifle. Same thing with pistols, they are the classes best condition stacking weapon and it scales well with power users. This is a joke. Give it an AoE bleed or give it two stacks of bleed on #1.

Other classes get to pick from weapon sets that are either condition or direct damage, yet engineer doesn’t have a single weapon or kit like this….talk about stupid….edit oh wait we have the underwhelming p/p that doesn’t stack enough bleeds.
