What do ppl use now to level on engis open world. Don’t feel like running a train for exp I just want to do map completion.

Jump in tools ASAP for Perma sprint and get rocket boots and fly through the zones. Rifle jump shot helps a bit to for mobility. Low level pve everything works pick what you like. Flame thrower grenades bombs none are bad really.

I love rifle, elixer gun, rocket boots, and grenades or bombs. 3 leaps for quick mobility and aoe damage.

I already reached 100% so nothing left but to wait tell they provide other ways to obtain skill points for future elite specialization.

However, in my opinion it is best for Grenade Kit to kill things while leveling in the world. It is great for single and AoE kills.

+1 for Nades.

Not only for speed of levelling, but because you will be doing a lot of ground targeting on Engineer, regardless of what you run at level 80 (nade, mortar, throw elixirs etc). If you haven’t ran similar classes before, it is worth getting use to spamming ground targeting while you are levelling.

I’m doing the same – map completion – i’m running condi p/p and tools for the 33% movement speed. I did put some rabid runes in too.
Anything works, really. Just make sure you get the perma swiftness.
