Hey all, as an Engineer, I’m wondering what everyone uses for their source of light in dark areas?

Sword classes have Fiery Dragon Sword, Volckitten, and way more other things, Torch classes have Torches… But what do we have?

Are there any Pistol skins I ckittene as a light source? Shield? Rifle?

One strategy I found is spamming 1 on Flamethrower, but that gets annoying very easily…

er i use normal ground targeting with the biggest aoe i know of (grenade barrage or rifle/pistol 5 orrrrrrrrrrr throw mine or flame turret toolbelt or flamethrower 2 or S or R toolbelt or crate)

its better in every situation

I adjust my gamma to max….

The flamethrower is what I generally do too.

I’m not sure about rifles, but the flameseeker prophecies shield does not provide any ambient light despite its glow.

There’s also the back piece from the first Halloween that you can skin onto some generic back piece to swap to while in a dark area, although you would’ve had to have acquired it during the first Halloween.

get the fires of balthasar backpiece from pvp, that thing gives off a light

I use The Flames of Kryta (http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Flames_of_Kryta) and Occasionally that Halloween flaming book back piece.

I heard Flameseeker Prophecy is a light source? Anyone have a vid of it in a dark room?

I use Glue Shot to see jumping platforms in the dark.

Flamethrower maybe?!
