One thing to remember is how easy it is to change builds in WvW.
So, I tend to have a build for siege standoffs and tower defenses which now leverages turrets.
1. Don’t underestimate fortified turrets. If you use 4 turrets with lower cooldowns, you can almost get permanent reflective shields up. That can have a huge impact on allowing you to whittle down an attacking force while defending a keep. You can fit quite a few casters under that bubble (not to mention yourself)
2. The buffs tied to Experimental turrets are great again for sieges and choke defenses (Lord rooms etc). Open field I have really enjoyed dropping AE fury on a rifle turret.
3. Check out all the new On Heal Rune abilities. Some of them are extremely nice and work quite well with our medkit. PBAE 3 second burn every 10 seconds? PBAE chill every 10 seconds? Then there is altruism which provides AE might and Fury. Krait is of course a favorite too now with bleed, poison and torment but on a 30 second timer doesn’t really leverage the quick swapping of the medkit.
