Looking for versatile engy group build pve
30/20/0/10/10 works fine p/p or p/s healing turret/nades/bombkit/elixer s i think i got that right stealth one and supply crate or elixer x on top of downed teamates to keep enemies off stats could be tough/prec/condi
I do not understand what anchor guard(hammer),Ranger(melee spotter) means in PvE??? What in PvE is requires a guardian to anchor down to a location and hold it? What is the ranger spotting?
These are historically PvP, terms, yet the OP specifically mentions PvE. So I have to ask.

I use a Might stacking zerker build on my Engineer.
I’ll have my guildies group on me pre-fight, put healing turret, throw mine, and thumper turret where we’re standing and have a pistol/shield equipped. I’ll go to bomb kit, hit big ol’ bomb>fire bomb (switch back to pistol shield while waiting for teh explosionz) once you see the fire bomb go off you detonate your turrets, and mine, spamming the thumper turret tool belt skill and then shield 4.
This will give everyone 18 stacks of might, you go into combat, switching to Rifle, and mostly use the bomb kit to apply vulnerability, rifle is for burst with skills 3 and 5. On the 10th with the bomb kit you’ll have a nice range of conditions to apply for the damage bonus from the 30 point trait in fire arms.
My build is 30/30/0/0/10. Taking speedy gadgets in Tools for faster mine field cool down
It really depends how you like to play…
As long you put in 30 in the power line, you will always be able to dish out good damage and provide vulnerability. While it is good to go all berserker, I tend to find a bit of survivability goes a long way and particularly helps for higher fractals and other difficult parts of dungeons and runs.
If your team likes to stack- try bomb kit (best damage, large areas of conditions, smoke field that you can combo to give stealth) or if you like to play from afar, Grenades.
Save one slot for utility, ones I recommend is Elixir S or U or elixir gun.
Healing turret is great for a team that likes to stack, but if your team is all over the place definitely use medkit. You can put down med bandages for your teammates that resets every 10 secs and also 5k heal on tool kit bar is just sooo good.
I’m using my revised version of sickman syndrome build which is 30/0/0/20/20- an all kit build that provides dps, cc, healing, survivability and team support. My new version now is with p/s with medkit/elixir gun/flamethrower/grenade. And instead of kit refinement, I use leg mod. You can change the kits except elixir gun to suit how you play. I hope this helps.

Well, any bomb or grenade build will stack vulnerability like a baws, grenades especially. Bring along elixirs with HGH and 409 to stack might and cleanse respectively.
FT/EG is a great team support build. It doesn’t dish out the mad damage like bombs/nades, but it can stack might really well, burst heal your party, and aoe cleanse too.
