Hmm, not sure if this balances out to a net total of a buff or a nerf, but I’ll assume it veers toward the nerf side seeing how strong this was. I just hope we don’t become kitten at fighting underwater like most other classes.

Underwater grenades now have same cast time as regular grenades, but grenadier noe affects underwater grenades.

Well, let’s be honest here – grenades were too good underwater. We all knew that. When we can wipe out packs of mobs in the time it takes some classes to kill one, I mean something’s gotta give.

Overall, I’m actually fairly happy. I mean, look at what they did to Mesmers. It barely does anything in PvP, but they got wrecked in PvE with this change. Phantasms will still be on cooldown when you finish killing one mob, and you can’t start on another until the cooldown is off. And phantasms still die when target dies, so multi-mob pulls will be a huge pain.

Be happy. It could have been worse. A lot worse.
