Are the devs even considering giving us hammers and/or maces?

Many people have brought this up. I am sure they are well aware of the engineers communities request for them

I don’t really see new weapon skills happening for any classes any time soon, much less the most neglected class in the game.

There is a polearm currently in the database of the game. It can be linked and everything. So maybe in the future, who knows. Anet seems to pulling out new content every other month with holidays.
