Yeah my friend got the achievement and didn’t even get Strugar but I was wondering if someone has some builds with traits and skills that they could link to. Also, what great cc’s do we have for him? I know nets don’t work. Is glue shot viable? Doesn’t it only last a very short time?
I got it on my first try with my chill grenade build. If you want the build, I would be happy to post it.

That would make my day actually. : D

This generates about 14 seconds of chill every 20 or so seconds. I didn’t really retrait and optimize for cripples as well, or I could have added quite a bit of up time to that with this build.
It give exactly +100% chill uptime, with two procs, one on the freeze grenade and one on the sup sigil. Just start spamming when the fight starts, rocket boots to the meat, with dodge rolls for a bit extra maneuverability. You can drop box of nails, but you CANNOT root the dog, I tried this several times with the rifle and net turret, but it seems only the 2 movement conditions work.
Good luck. And if you have any questions, I will try to answer them. This is my typical dungeon build, and I use this p/s combo for fights like the orrian gorillas in Arah, or when AoE chills would be useful. Otherwise I use one sigil of fire or night, and one for the dominant mob type, usually with the potent slaying potion.
Haven’t gotten to a 10k prybar yet, but I hit 9550 yesterday against Cursed Shore trash.

I did is with classic SD build. Ive burst and control Strugar first (he throw only 2 meats and I grab them first)

Still having a hard time even after trying the chilling/grenade kit combo. Used another set of 40 tickets alone on this fight. Still frustrated but not defeated yet. I might try the bomb suggestion as adamantium pointed out tonight. I got lucky and had Strugar throw 3 meats to me last night but the 4th I got pulled away from and failed. Didn’t even get chomper down. I’ll keep trying. I wish Juggernaut still gave stability.
Yeah, I went with grenades for the chill, and I had dual pistols for the glue shot as well.
My strat was actually to kill Stugar first. He dies a lot faster than chomper, and if he dies then there’s no more meat to catch. If you focus on chomper, you might end up in a situation where Stugar is standing back for awhile, meaning you can’t as effectively AoE them both.
I also tried to spam F while I was near them while throwing grenades just in case he threw a point blank meat (he did this 5 times in 5 seconds for me once), although you probably don’t have to be that crazy with it.
You can also try toolkit for the nails and magnet, or elixir gun + flamethrower for the consistent cripple and knockback.
Other than that, it’s just a matter of being very attentive towards the meat tosses. May help to dodge just before you get to the meat so you don’t get pulled, although you only have so many dodges.
Chomper is incredibly easy to kill one you kill Strugar. My stat (as the above user also did) was to kill Strugar first so there was no more meat to be thrown. Took me about 6 tries due to him throwing the meat at his feet and Chomper instantly grabbing it.

I’ll have to try that. I’ve read that in a couple places. Maybe if I burn Strugar down and summon Fire Elemental and Ogre as well as drop crate and turrets maybe I can just torch him to the ground and just pay attention to throws.

The problem is once Strugar dies, Chomper gets incredibly strong to the point where he can 1-2 shot you. The bright side to this is his moves are stupidly choreographed and can be side stepped with ease (also if you kill Strugar first that means you probably grabbed at least 3 pieces of meat or more which means your attack power will be at like 4-5k).

The nice thing about using the grenades is that you can hit them both at once since you can keep them both within melee range easily, meaning the other can be fairly weak once the first one dies.
You only need to kill Chugar to get the achievement as of now. I used a Static Discharge build with some knockbacks. Get some swiftness in there to be able to outrun Chugar and knock him back whenever he gets too close to the food.
