Med Kit's Condi Clear?

i use med kit on water (because HT dont work in water XD)
i’ve been waiting for a “fix” since release. sigh.
If I recall way way back in the day it removed all conditions. But I agree removing 1 condition every 15 seconds on top of a cast time and having to run over it before someone else is pretty clunky and horrendous. It should at least remove 3 conditions possibly or just remove certain ones like all damaging conditions.
Anyway if you need more condi removal in PvE and WvW you can use this food:

I agree that the condition cleanse from Med-Kit isn’t the best, but it is still a very useful kit that really doesn’t need fixing. As far as lacking in condition removal, we’re not in bad shape there. There are some many options ranging from Formula 409, Healing Turret overcharge, Elixir C, Toss Elixir U, Elixir Gun, and even condition immunity below 25% health. The problem is the condition meta in general, not the Engineer’s capabilties to remove them.
HT is our best bet for condition removal. And if you pick the turret up rather than detonate it, it’s a 15s cooldown.

Yep it’s terrible has been from the start. Meanwhile other classes can remove condis like mad crazy every second. We have only 1 trait that does that and it locks us into the use of all elixirs. Oddly it doesn’t affect the Elixir Gun or the Med Kit’s other skills when you choose this trait even tho they use the same types of things (alchemical effects) to achieve similar goals.
409 should effect Med Kit’s Antidote imo, causing Antidote to cleanse 2 conditions per use. It would justify taking that trait in a non-elixir build.

True. But for it to go from all conditions > 1 condition is a gross over-nerf.

I like med kit, but I don’t like using a utility for condi removal, so I’m left with healing turret with overcharge and pickup. I think that removing 2 conditions without having to run over the vial would be fair, or at least more competitive with HT.
I think the medkit and the effects from EG should be affected by the 409 trait that would make it more viable and give people more credible options other than all pistols potions in the setup. I also think they need to return the extra healing field to the Kit Refinement even if they leave out the stun removal it’s very much needed to make healing more viable as well.
