Medkit Kit Refinement and Runes
That is known already, but I suggest you check kit-refinement (trait) options too if you’re theorycrafting, you might find smtg pretty useful… However I must warn you the rune of grenth set grants just a 2s chill duration (not 3s) thus is VERY hard to stack some duration, I already reported that in the bug section of the forum, I suggest you check the rune of balthazar set, it provides long burning and better damage.
As you’ll be swapping a bit you may also find useful the Sigils of leeching and Doom (now that they’r fixed).
One last thing… those AoE-triggered effects mostly work for pvp, don’t build around that for pve you can’t stay so close as an engi even if you use the toolkit.
Yeah, people have been been using are uniqueness of the heal kit to use “on heal” function such as centaur runes giving AoE swiftness on heal.
As many times as you have participated in engineer discussions, or debated what the engineer is or is not capable of, I am shocked you didn’t already know this . It has been mentioned in a good many discussions you participated in, and it has been like this since release.
It is very helpful, and there is a food ( I forget it off hand) that gives a 100% chance to remove a condition on heal, that I use consistently in WvW to add to my condition removal capability.
I like med kit because it removes a condition when I swap to it with “Bowl of Saffron-scented Poultry”

I mostly use it in Orr right now, especially with so many enemies chasing me or when we have those wonderful respawn bugged mobs just show up all of a sudden. Yeah it works wonders as a quick escape option now. I can freeze everything around me and run off screaming like a mad scientist.
