These two traits are pretty much a mandatory for many of us. Most engineer builds rely on very active defense, and dodges and speed are big part of that.
20 trait points is however a pretty big deal when you’re making new builds, and merging these would improve build diversity(even more). And looking at the state of our traits, I don’t think extra 10 points would be too dangerous balance-wise.

Near permanent swiftness and vigor in combat sure is amazing. But considering our profession, I’m not sure if 20 points is too much for it, or 10 points is too cheap.

Just an idea I wanna throw out there and get other’s opinions for it. So, do you think merging these two traits would be too much?

If it was placed where Speedy kits is, no.

If it was placed where Invigorating speed is, yes.

I think it is pretty fine right now, we are the only class I can think of that can have both swiftness and vigor up all the time. If they made it 10 points only, I think we will be too strong.

It would be really powerful as a single trait. I’d actually prefer it in the tools line so I could still take three other alchemy traits.

Other professions can have essentially perma vigor through a single trait, but there are none that have perma vigor and swiftness with a single trait.

If they merged it they would probably make it a T2 trait anyway, requiring 20 points.

If this were to happen, second tier in Tools would probably be the right place.

However, that would maybe be more of a nerf with the current state of Tools -line.
