I checked the meta battle page and there is no engineer meta build for WvW roaming solo…

may I ask if anyone can help advise me on a power and condi build good for WvW roaming solo?

See if any of these builds fit your needs. They are all fully up to date and I play all of them with great succes. The ‘best’ build depends on a lot of factors. For example a condition build can get absolutely destroyed by berserker builds simply because condition builds can’t ‘abuse’ the fact that those berserker builds have no toughness while a power build can make really good use of that and blow such players up completely.

Same story goes to a Condition Necromancer. A build that is incredibly strong versus other condition damage builds like the condition Engineer while a power build like my ‘Juggernaut’ build has an incredible good shot at beating a condition necromancer.

I recommend just look around what you like as there are a lot of (very) viable options.

Well currently I think that FT HGH is meta right now in terms of power builds, and for Condi meta I think its safe to say that perplexity rabid with grenades and tool kit is the build of choice. If perplexity is too expensive for you I personally would recommend antitoxin runes for the added defense in addition to the might you gain from incoming poison and torment which is very handy given the current Condi PU meta with mesmers.

Returning player (for now) with all the changes to the skill trees these look like a good place to start thanks for posting the link. Also the site itself looks like a good engi resource for returning or new engi’s.

I personally love the Mortineer build in WvW. Works amazingly well in large scale engagements and keep defense. It helps to keep pressure on the enemy zergs amazingly well and well placed Orbital Strikes are devastating.

The downside to it is that if they notice where the mortars are coming from you gain their attention very quickly due to the amount of long range damage you are putting out.

It is also rather difficult to use if you get caught out alone on your way to join the zerg.
