Elixir S does not remove any conditions! Elixir C does! And taking Elixir C over Elixir S will just cripple you defensively! Sorry to say but HGH builds just aren’t that good! They are extremely prone to boonsteal and you need to take elixir traits over the super amazing defensive traits that Alchemy gives you! Not to mention using utility slots on multiple single use long cooldown abilities already poops on your defensive capabilities!

Whatever build you have as an engineer, i just find that mesmers mess you up badly, either stealing your boons, or throwing the conditions you applied back at your face
