My first build - Please give advice
If you’re going to make healing and point defense part of your build you might wanna pick up Healing Turret and Elixir Infused Bombs. You don’t have any gear selected, but I’m assuming Cleric.
Might want to look at 10/0/30/20/10 with P/S HT/BK/TK/ES
I would recommend you running a build i crafted BUT its expensive with the runes and food being the pinnacle of it. However , i can’t really you as much as i’d like because you didnt actually finish the spec you linked
I have a few small issues with your build:
1) If you’re looking for a bunker build, you won’t be doing crazy damage. 10% extra on top of subpar, unfortunately, is still subpar. Drop 10 points in explosives, and get rid of the 10% explosives damage. The other two you picked are good, though.
2) You’re going to either want to increase the effectiveness of your bombs OR rifle. Chances are you won’t be using one nearly as much as the other, and if you’re taking bomb kit, then let’s boost bombs. Don’t take the 10 in firearms.
3) You’re going pretty far in inventions, with bombs, but you don’t grab the pinnacle bunker trait! Elixir-Infused explosives means that you heal yourself for ~150 an autoattack, so long as you aren’t running full speed ahead (Strafing still puts you in the radius). Take 10 of the points that we freed up and place them here.
4) Invis on immob is not the best. You’re better served getting 20% reduced damage against CC, since you only have 1 stunbreak. Limited stunbreaks aren’t your fault, it’s a problem nearly all engies suffer. And it’s why we get both protection and an extra 20% DR while CC’d.
5) You’ve got 10 points left. Put them into the Alchemy tree if you plan on bunkering, most bunker builds will have a total of at least 40 points in alch and inventions combined. Get Backpack regenerator, and suddenly you regenerate health at a rather rapid rate for a completely passive, permanent effect.
6) Elixirs are mainly used with HGH builds, or when you specifically need the effects of an individual elixir (I’m looking at you, Elixir S). Swap H for the turret, and learn to abuse the blast finishers. Swap B for Rocket Boots or Throw Mine, and get even more blast finishers. RB is for if you want more mobility, TM is for if you want to be able to stay still while proccing AoE heal fields.

However, the core philosophy behind the engineer is “If it works for you, it works.” It’s your build, play it how it feels best for you. You are the best judge of your own build, since we don’t know how you play.
