Guild Wars 2

After many hours of recording and editing I released my second sPvP montage with the Engineer.
Briefly, after the responses to my last montage I didn’t try any fancy editing, or panning. I just wanted it to be a short intro to set a vibe and then straight into very lightly edited footage so that people can really see how I play and defeat enemies.
For the most part I was using my Grenadier build:

Your editing is again really great, and I just love your intro’s and the way they set up the amosphere of the video’s.

The gameplay is nice to watch, kuddo’s there as well.

As for the panning and such, or the lack thereof: it doesn’t hurt the artistic value of the video one bit that you didn’t pan this time, or zoom too much.
It was indeed clearer now without being boring at all in terms of camera.

Three times!?

Yep Optics, for a day or so I saw it on the forum 3 times, I made the first reaction to the one with the most views

Bugged probably, since the others never got reactions. But that could just as well be because my first reaction sort of ‘opened’ that one.

Still not a fan of the intro sequence. It feels too long and drawn out and does not get me excited for the rest of your video. It has too many cuts where nothing happens. At the very least your intro should give us a taste of what’s to come.
It also feels rather pretentious—the only thing it’s missing is more focus pulls.

When you make anything, a film, short film, novel, speech, and even a short montage of gameplay footage like this, you always have to open with the hook to get the viewer interested.
I am not interested in 30 seconds of filler footage done in slow motion with zero action and video effects that just ooze pretentiousness.

‘Oozes prentiousness’ made me laugh xD Thanks for the feedback, I understand what you mean. This movie was probably a bit rushed.
