Guild Wars 2

So, I received the news that I have broken the pisiform bone in my right hand, and need to take 4 weeks off work. Now the treatment for broken bones revolves around Rest, Immobilisation, Compression and Elevation (RICE) which effectively turns me into a one-armed bandit for a month.

The only thing I really want to do in GW2 right now is level an Engineer. Can anyone please recommend me a build that I can use one-handed?

Sorry to hear about your hand, hope it heals fast.

The easiest Engi build to play one handed while leveling would probably be Rifle w/ FT.

You have decent range and direct damage using rifle, plus a lot of control skills so you don’t have to kite.

You have use Netshot, Overcharged Shot, Airblast, and Smoke Vent to keep them away or mitigate damage.

Cheers Flamethrower is one of my fave skills so thats cool. I’m currently running FT, 2 elixirs and Defensive Golem since all the decent elites are AoE, it seems.

Yeah, I broke it in a motorbike crash. And I thought riding on race tracks was supposed to be safer!
