Need Engi Advice for Organized Play
It all depends on how you want to play. With stats like that you really need to keep away from the enemy train. 1300 toughness is nothing and even though elixir s may save your life two times they have long cooldowns and you do little dmg the 6 seconds you are in mist form. The transmute trait is useless vs larger enemy groups and if you run with a coordinated guild you shouldn’t need the speedy kit trait neither, because your teammates will provide it. Be aware that your exploit weakness trait has a 15 sec cooldown. I bet you already know the grenade kit can really hurt you from all the retall dmg so be careful!
I’d recommend you play a lot with your teammates and get used to your build before you start investing in ascended armor it may save you a lot of money

Thanks for the reply Equareo. You’re right I think a bit more toughness would be a smart move, and I wont go ascended quiet yet till I perfect what I want to do. I think the build itself is working out though. I only got speedy kits b/c there really isnt a better trait to choose there, and I wanted access to leg mode (testing has proven it to be well worth it). I will also invest a bit less in condi duration for more power. Anyways here is the build I decided to work towards for now, if anyone else has some input it would be greatly appreciated.
