Guild Wars 2

Hi everyone- First off I want to say I love the community you have here, coming from a few other games this was a very nice surprise.

I have taken a lot of tips from what I have seen here to help me create a build to level, and I have a lot of different ideas on what I want to work towards in my wvw adventures.

Here is my question though. I will be hitting the 80 mark tonight and I am so lost on how I am going to gear this engineer up. I know the dire set looks like it might be my best bet for what I want to do in WVW for a while. The problem is I have no idea where to get all the little ins and outs, or how I should go about it.

This is my first 80 but I stated when this game kicked off but left for about a year. I have racked up around 100g 350k karma and about 680 WVW badges. I have no idea what I should buy with any of them. Should I buy exotic gear for gold and trinkets with karma? I am so lost when it comes to this. and the back piece….I don’t even know where to start to find one of those.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

On a side note, I am really new to the WVW area….what kind of build would you guys take in as a new player….we are talking more zergish to guild 20 mannish type fights.
