ah and traits are not great at all :P
Some ideas:
- Vengeful Gears: Invoke gears to circle around you, damaging foes and reducing incoming damage by 50% from yourself and nearby allies. Duration 8s. Cooldown 60s.
- Throw Gear: Throw a gear at foe that explodes each time it pierces dealing heavy damage and knocking down foes. Range 1200. Unblockable. Cooldown 30s.
- Mech Suit: Transform into mech suit gaining access to powerful gadgets. Cooldown 60s. Like the one from Haywire Punch-o-Matic Battle adventure
EMP sounds good, it would be game changing just like every elite should be.
Obviously not 3s daze though lol
Gravity Jam: The Engineer activates a Gadget that surrounds him/her with a field of altered mass, switching between anti-gravity and hyper-gravity for several seconds.
It is a AOE that first floats enemies around for a second, interrupting them, and then forcefully lands them, doing damage and aplying slow. The field of effect moves with the engie and applies each time a foe enters the area. High CD, of course.

Hawks
Jetpack: The engineer turns it on, it charges up, and the engineer rapidly flies toward a target for an unblockable albeit very telegraphed attack, leaving burning flames behind him.
If the target gets hit, he gets damaged and launched forward; the engineer itself is self-launched and suffers a bit of recoil damage too.
If it misses, the engineer flies ahead and then tumbles forward, somehow evading attacks in its erratic movement.

Would love something more complete, a new specialization based on healing and with main hand complimenting well with shield for a bunky healing role: medic!
I have always loved the medical kit but it’s soo useless… Maybe with a healing spec we can make him shine.
I like the EMP pulse idea, so I’m takin it and makin it my own.

Toss the Space-Time device at the target location (1/2 cast, range 600). Device lasts for 60 seconds at the target location.
Flips over into ‘Open Wormhole’, (1/2 cast, 60s CD) Warping the Engineer to the specified location, and resisting debilitating conditions on the Engineer for 10 seconds.

I mean, we only lack the gadget genre for our elite skills, we have everything else
Robo Legs: Increase speed by 500% for 10 seconds. 40s CD.
Toolbelt: Pulse super speed to nearby allies for 10 seconds. 30s CD.
