Guild Wars 2

Hey so I haven’t played this game since launch, but for some reason I want to get back into it. This means I really don’t know/remember much about the game. So my questions to you guys are:
1. For Engineers, which is best for fastest leveling, PvE or PvP?
2. Based on the answer above, what is the best build/weapon(s) for that respected style of leveling?
3. What crafts should I be leveling, if any?
4. Asura master race? (I’m just curious about this rumor :p)

Huntsman, Jeweler and Leatherworker are currently the most applicable crafting skills for Engineers; Huntsman lets you make Rifles and Pistols (the only two offensive weapons an Engineer has besides Kits), while Leatherworker is used for Medium Armor and Jeweler…well, if you can’t guess that one, I’m not tellin’.

Asura master race? I have no idea what that means; they don’t make a better Engineer than any other race does. They and Charr certainly fit it best, though.

Thank you for your input, and what I meant about master race is that they have a slight advantage in PvP because of their size maybe? But don’t worry about that, I already made an Asura Engin

the asura / char / and sylvari racials are really nice in PvE / WvW

you can easily use some of them in place of class utilities. Like hiden pistol, the slyvari block, and asura AoE confusion skill.

as for leveling PvE is typically fastest.

going into a bomb or flamethrower build works well.

Oh, that. Yeah, Asura are pretty common; I’m not entirely sure why they might have advantages, aside from possibly being less noticeable.

Oh, that. Yeah, Asura are pretty common; I’m not entirely sure why they might have advantages, aside from possibly being less noticeable.

Haha i read it was cuz of the difficulty of seeing their spell animations since they’re so small :p
