Many engineer players would like to see more weapon variety for the engineer so I decided to make a post where we can post our ideas and to lighten the mood since the engineer isnt in the best spot right now. (This has probably already been done before but i couldnt find anything). Personally I would like to see a crossbow on the enginer (possibly a kit or a new weapon? Sniper kit?). It could be all mechanical and steampunk with possibly a retractable bayonet (Dragon age anyone?). It could be slow firing similar to that of a ballista in wvw and could have around 1400 or 1500 range. Just an idea i had that i would like to share, anyone else have some cool ideas?

2000 range could be cool if it could be traited in Precision or something. But it’s not going to happen.

I rather us not get anymore useless kits until they fix the ones we have now.

I would love a cross-bow with Exploding Gear Arrow type skills, i would even love for them to let us use the bow with high tech gear arrows.

I’d like a hammer – possibly with actual impassable wall skills.

The only weapon I can really see suiting the Engineer is a one handed hammer, or at an extremely long stretch a dagger if the skin got changed to a screwdriver when it gets equipped.

hammer or spear on land. I’d prefer spear on land, re tool the rifle skills, and give the spear jump and flavor/control skills. it’d be kittens.

also, subject alpha for president. why choose a lesser evil?

This and hammer sound awesome to me.

I want a rocket launcher too!!! They can get rid of the mortar, I don’t need it! I can get more range with grenades than the elite mortar anyways…

Steam punk style power gloves or some sort of power arm! That shoots rockets and cool stuff, 007 style!!!
