Guild Wars 2

Only been playing game a couple weeks. Tried guardian, an mesmer. They where ok. But I really like the engineer profession. Question is I know I wanna spvp, an Wvw. Maybe also do dungeons cause I like my guild I found. I saw a video for a build with pistol, and shield. Is that a viable build? An if so what would be good traits, an stuff for when I hit 80? If there is a better build any help would be great : )

Would you be able to link the video or if you remember the streamer’s name we might be able to help? Condi builds generally run Pistol/Shield and there are plenty of good ones out there.

If so the build is in the description. you’d just want to move Forceful Explosives to Adept and grab Incendiary Powder from Master. The traits have been rearranged a little since Dec 2013, and iirc Incendiary Powder was probably still an Adept trait then. I’m pretty sure that’s what he was going for.
