Yep, this could work for WvW, but its hard to decide what gives more survivability: Tool kit or Shoes. Also Throw wrench will allow you to deal more dmg.
And when you get immobilized, your only way to remove it is Overcharge shot, which may hit enemy and cancel your stealth.
I wouldnt use SD berserk for roaming, its better for small grp where others can cover your weaknesses.
So how could you leave these components but have still a setup like that?
mod ammunition is kindof terrible. Ask any alch engi about how well that 2% per boon works.
stick with hair trigger over it.
And the 5% damage when end is not full is better then the burning on crit anyway.
@Assasin: get Tool Kit instead of slick shoes and Kit refinement instead of adrenalin implant. U’ll get the super speed every 20 sec through kit swapping and within the stun breaker.
PvE Ammo mod works really well, let your team mates lay the conditions, watch rifle do over 3k per shot.
Why divinity runes ? ruby orbs gets you more power/prec and the same 12% crit dmg.

I use a similar build for roaming but not full Zerker gear i run almost half PVT with Ruby orbs, Also i sacrifice some burst for control so i use Tool Kit, Net Turret, and PBR. And ill be using the new Sitting Duck trait.
For PvE i use the same build 10/30/0/0/30 but i run full Zerker Rifle Turret, Tool Kit (the dmg on wrench is BA) and Goggles.
I want to find a way to add rocket boots jumping around sounds fun i could see getting rid of PBR ill have to test it out later
Oh and btw Jump shot fix was a bigger deal than i thought. im thinking of opening my burst by closing the gap with Rocket Boots, then Net shot, Jump Shot, Blunderbuss, and Overcharge shot, Then run through my tool belt and SD to death.

Im doing a similar build except with knights gear for survivability. Your kit probably does a crap-ton more damage though

Errr… Analyze (Utility Goggles Toolbelt skill) applies Vulnerability, not Weakness. Vulnerability stacks in intensity up to 25 stacks, so Analyze only got buffed with the cooldown reduction.
SD build still sucks
SD builds can work great…it shines when roaming in a small group of 2 or 3. I’ve been running it lately just for fun and have had great success.
Currently 10/20/0/10/30… I find that the perma vigor i get from invigorating speed in the alchemy tree really helps keep me moving with speedy kits.
Only thing i’m trying to figure out now is if i want to drop power wrench for speedy gadgets so i can get Utility Goggles down to 32 seconds and Battering Ram down to 20. I kinda like the battering ram as a replacement to rifle turret… but i really miss getting that extra SD off of turret detonation (not to mention surprise shot is 3 seconds faster). Still playing around with it though.
Fun build but it has very little room for error. If they survive the burst and you don’t dodge the counters / block with toolkit…squish!

Informative and enlightening.
But anyway, SD builds are stronger… there will still be a limited place in the meta tPvP for them because they are ultimately still a single target nuke, even with the static bouncing around, but they are arguably one of the more mobile burst builds around now if you take Rocket Boots, Speedy Kits, and Rifled Barrels, and now they can be run without a necessity of taking ToolKit.
Im too chicken to run around with out my tool kit. The shield block, long range slow interrupt / pull, and cripple from box of nails…i’ve just become so dependent on it.
I’ve been trying to ditch it as i like the idea of an all gadget build…what do you grab Aydenunited? Goggles, Ram, Boots? Mine might be nice for another knock back too and has a short toolbelt cool down. I dunno. Back to the mists to tinker!

I’ve been running it with several variations, honestly, between goggles, rifle turret, ram, and rocket boots. The only one I tend to take more often is rocket boots because of how mobile it makes us partnered up with Speedy Kits, and if you don’t run with Toolkit, it’s your escape plan.
I’m still using hair trigger instead of modified ammunition. The CD reduction on the rifle skills means I can setup immob -> jump shot burst combos more often.
If you’re playing SD and mostly sitting at range, then perhaps it could be useful, but then you might as well ditch speedy kits or adrenal implant for scope and get the crit bonus.
Also still running runes of the scholar instead of divinity. Don’t think the divinity ones are really worth it for this build, a lot of stat points getting dumped into a black hole due to the glass canon nature of the build, for only 4% more crit damage which is overridden by the +10% damage from scholar’s. You have to keep your health up, but if you health starts to drop you’ll likely either need to escape to heal or just roll over dead. They’re cheaper too.
It is a very gimmicky build, but it does work in some cases.
I look forward to seeing how it does with all the new buffs, it think we are gonna see a really fantastic version in the wild soon.

I had an idea, where you take rocket turret, rifle and battering ram. When you have used the toolbelt skills, you drop the turrets, let them do some work. Blow them up, use toobelt skills again. With the lower CDs and beefed up dmg, SD+Turrets = awesome?
I need to try this out.
Rifle plus battering ram will give you 3 rather awesome CCs.
