Guild Wars 2

Hi, I finally got an engi to 80 after 3 years of putting it to the side, and I’m loving it. Can you guys possibly link some good game-play videos/builds (there 2-3 on meta-battle) not that many condition builds. I mainly wvw roam/pvp so any build advice is appreciated. I’m trying the celestial scrapper/zerkerish scrapper at the moment, and while I enjoy hammer and the super evade/#5 combo, I think it’s very unresponsive/clumsy, so searching for decent alternate builds, they don’t even have to be meta, just fun, condition or power.

edit: I uploaded some random WVW gameplay of this night of my cele flamethrower build (rifle). Maybe you like the playstyle (not really a beginner friendly build though).

You may like a bunker build for a scrapper too. Don’t go all nomad, its not worth it. But maybe try Soldiers gear as then you can tank a bit, and still hit hard. I’d post my build, but I’m still working it out for my play style which is more of the literal word beserker, not with berserker stats, but the fact that in mythology beserkers could tolerate extraordinary amounts of punishment while dishing it out too.

However, I’ll say this too. Every build out there has something that counters it, and same goes for anything you might like yourself. So just know that someone may be able to counter something you do, but don’t make it be like “Oh this class sucks” ‘cause Scrapper and Engi. in general don’t, they are very versatile and fun when you get use to it.

Thanks for the replies. I’ve been trying out your celestial build Sir dragon helmet, and I’ve had some nice success with it, in particular I love the rifle, it’s a really great weapon. I’m working on crafting full ascended cele for engi anyhow, I’ve got 4 pieces to go so I’m not too far from it. Also in your videos you had a really fluid use of the kits that I’m incredibly envious of but hopefully that will come with time, thanks for taking the time to link them in thread
