Guild Wars 2

As the title says, I just got to lvl 61 as Engineer, and have been loving Engineer so far. Didn’t realize how much i like using tools, and just feels so different from what i’m used too.

Anywho, i’m wanting to get into WvW and i see most people saying to either use grenades or bombs, and i’ve been using flamethrower for levelling.

Anyone have any advice for what to use and a good build? Any advice/help would be appreciated.

Not maxed level/gear in WvW? Run with zerg and grenades.
Maxed level/gear? Same thing, but moar grenades (30 points in Explosives, the rest is up to you).

For less zerging and smaller skirmishes, try a 3 kit build for lots of cc, conditions, blocks, combos, etc. Check the forums for one that fits your playstyle.

I enjoyed watching Yishis on YouTube for tips and play style. I like his commentary while he plays, however, I recently switched from pistol / shield to pistol / pistol. I have just recently hit level 80 myself and have been gearing up but I enjoy the spec based off OstritchEggs. Dire armor / weapons with rabid trinkets. I haven’t deviated from the main spec of 30 / 10 / 0 / 20 / 10

For solo WvW, i really like the build in my sig. And working on a bursty SD build.
