Guild Wars 2

Previously you were able to toggle a kit, and then instead of retoggling it to swap back to your main weapon you could just use the weapon swap key to skip the ICD on swapping back to a kit. However this appears to no longer be working. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I have been playing all morning and regularly swapping back with “`” to shield blast in my firefields…. no noted change.

I may do some testing though.

i dont mean swapping back to your primary weapon, i mean being in a kit, using the weapon swap key which normally reduces the ICD to swap back into the kit to 0, but now for some reason is keeping the half second ICD that normally happens only when you use the same kit button to stow it

The quickswapping only works with traited grenade kit, not the other kits, maybe you swapped out the grenadier trait?

hmm maybe thats it. i havent been using grenadier because im only leveling, level 53 atm. but i could have sworn the quickswapping worked with every kit.

Just tested on my lvl 80 engi, works just fine. weapon swap key puts away any kit, èven when the toggle of the kit is on the small internal cooldown. (tested with med kit, flamethrower and elixir gun)

Thats not really what i was saying, i meant you could swap to the kit, swap to your weapon, and swap back to the kit with no icd. but i think i did figure it out now, it is something to do with traited nades

There’s an ICD of 1 second since launch.
