Guild Wars 2

Hello everyone,

I just started an engineer alt, currently sitting at level 22, and whilst I am enjoying it all a great deal, I find juggling weapon skills, toolbelt and 1< kits a bit too much without just descending into a button-mashing state of panic.

So I was wondering if there are any builds that people have tried and had at least a moderate amount of success in any game mode really that center around weapon skills and 1 kit, or no kits for that matter.

Or is it the case that the engineer essentially cannot do well without three kits and I just lack the ability for multi-tasking to play this class in a not terrible fashion?

You can go for a kitless Elixir/Rifle build or an Elixir/FT build pretty easily. I haven’t played an Engi in a while, but I usually ran FT in Open World and an Elixir/Rifle build in sPvP.

AFAIK, the Farmineer build mostly camps out in the Flamethrower kit, maybe you could give that a try until you’re ready to branch out?
