I am using this kind of gear for almost a year, and I fairly enjoy it, but I want to ask for some available builds/runes that could be useful for this kind of gear. This was of course before Dire was introduced, and now I’m concerned Rabid has no other use. That’s why I would like to ask you guys for your opinions, and hope I can get the information I want. Thanks.

Edit: Even got full ascended accessories, amulets and rings.

Engineers have a lot of procs. Rabid isn’t really all that bad when compared to dire, it just has different strengths.

The Precision on Rabid is pretty useful for Engi’s considering Sharpshooter. More crits → more bleed procs.

I run Rabid with Grenades in WvW zerging. I really like the precision on it and prefer it over Dire. Our HP aren’t terribly low so I seem to do well with full Rabid. In PvE Rabid and Dire are not very good though. Rampagers on Grenades is good in PvE and will probably produce some very good DPS after the next patch with Modified Ammunition.
