The other build I was thinking of would be a 50% Condition duration increase build:

0/30/10/30/0 P/P /w Rabid & Lich or Lyssa for the Vitality/Precision and 10% Condition duration increase.

To the best of my knowledge, condition duration for any specific condition can’t go above +100%. So the increased bleed duration is wasted any time you’re using pizza, so I’d probably reconfigure the runes.

As to the “lolwut” comment above, 850 condition damage is more than sufficient to make conditions dangerous, and taking it higher would require either changing spec and losing boon duration (bad idea) or drastically weakening other stats.

Any build that involves concentrating on a single stat is probably going to be a poor build. This balanced build is much better than a build which maxes out condition damage.

Having that amount of Condition Damage shouldn’t be a problem in PvE, save for some select mobs that can remove/transfer them. In WvW you can usually get away with it since most players don’t bother carrying condition removal. I’d definitely reconsider for sPvP though.

For a rune set I recommend 2x Lyssa + 4x Nightmare for the increased cond. damage as well.

i rather have them last half the time and hit twice as much. You can get ~1600 condi dmg easily and just eat food +40% condi dur anyways.

No. I have a necromancer with 150%+ bleeding duration and it works. The 100% cap is a lie (atleast for bleeding).

This build with Pizza boosts ALL Conditions up to 50% and boons are boosted by 50% from Traits.

The OP build is a tankish P/P build as its loaded with Toughness and Healing. While this build shifts stats towards Condition Damage and Precision.

Edit: So as some said I reduced the 100% Duration to 50% and boosted Condition Damage and Precision

Edit 2: The 10 Points keep them in the Toughness line or go for 2sec Burn seeing how much Crit I have?

Bad idea man. You are losing so much condition damage.

You cannot crank out anymore DPS out of a condition build than with this equipment.

You need to be rolling:
6 Vatlaaw’s Peices for the Condition/Prec/Toughness(this is much better in WvW & Fractals than vitality)
2x Lyssa
2x Mad King
2x Afflicated
-Use Napalm Spec for the 20% duration on burn

Stat allocation is 30/30/00/10/00 (once they fix Giver’s Weapons – 20/20/00/30/00)

-Add in Sigil of Earth & Sigil of Corruption
-Add Maintance oil and Rare Veggie Pizza
=
105% Bleed Duration (100% is max with rounding)
110% Burn Duration (100% is max with Rounding)
90% for Confusion & Poison (only 50% will be applied) [will be 100% once they fix Giver’s Weapons]

You are looking at double bleed time, double burn time, and 50% increase in time for confusion/poison.

Important
The skill tool-tips will lie to you. What you need to do is take auto-target off and test 1 stack of bleed on a target to see the duration and the amount of damage per second. Repeat this for burn duration, but remember if your chance to burn on crit procs, you’ll see a 16 second burn instead of the 12 second burn. lol

Why is this better than Rampagers? Because Rampagers doesn’t have optimal condition damage and that’s the thing you want to prolong.

So
100% Duration on more condition
50% Damage increase from base Crit damage on less power

vs.

50% Duration on less condition
50% Damage increase on more power from base Crit Damage

The 100% cap is not a lie. The Necromancer trait that gives +33% scepter condi-durations though breaks the cap. The rest of us cannot go past +100% condi-duration.

As of the last patch, Giver’s wasn’t fixed though.
