Are there any good p/p builds out there or do i have to rely on kits now. I usually go with p/p condition damage and elixirs but it looks like it’s outdated. Any suggestions on a p/p build will surely be helpful.

Hah, if your talking PvP then not particularly. I have had some moderate success with a strait condition P/P with night mare runes as well as Healing turret+accelerant packed turrets and for utilities Tool Kit/Net Turret/Rocket Boots. although the success I have with this build is less from the build itself as it is just knowing Engineer mechanics.

Magnet Pull>Overcharged Net Turret>Prybar>Blowtortch>Static Shot>Detonate Net turret for knock back>Start unloading full Dart Volley.

and if your truly sassy run up and instantly detonate your healing turret to buy some time for your conditions to tick. Don’t forget about Net Turrets Tool Belt skill, although I like to use it as a fail safe considering it can be fired from any direction at your opponents making kiting seamless with Rocket Boots. The above is the award winning wombo combo I made that’s impossible to mitigate once successfully pulled. It’s a cheese Build.. But P/P is a very bad weapon choice currently as it provides almost No protection due to Glue Shot painfully slow projectile speed and lackluster effect being your only defensive option, and in this build aside from Gear Shield Hence all the CC.. Oh, and don’t get Stunned.

well for pve i’ve run this particular build with much success though you won’t be invited to any speed runs anytime soon

OP, a P/P build with elixirs is not outdated at all, it is a build that can definently be used with great success.

I equip two pistols, but it’s mostly cosmetic. I’ve tried the HGH route with pistols a few times. With bloodlust and might stacking sigils, I find the DPS low in comparison to FT. I also don’t like having only 1 healing source. I’m not as bold as I would be running into a group fight as I would be with an FT/EG/Medkit combo.

That’s not to say it isn’t used though. Some people do run it and they enjoy it, which is what matters most in a video game. The elixir X however is pretty awesome and I do use that a lot. Though it’s like winning the lottery. If you get the tornado, you won the jackpot.

Haven’t seen a HGH p/p in tPvP on top level videos or streams for a loooong time.

The OP never specified PvP. There are many vids of P/P HgH Elixir users in WvW though.

Then P/P elixir builds will work great. P/P with almost any kit is very serviceable to be totally honest, as long as you beef up your condition damage stat.
