Hi all,

Been out the game for a while and trying to pick (in my head) sigils that i’ll potentially invest in after the changes on the 15th. These will be used on my Pistol/Shield Engineer which I mainly use in WvW.

Wondered what people are currently enjoying out there and if a few folk could throw their opinions in the hat.

I’ve read up on the Sigil shared cooldowns etc. and think i mostly understand the jist of it.

Currently considering a Sigil of Fire on the Pistol and a Sigil of Bursting on the shield (+6% condition damage).

Sigils that are “on swap” are fairly amazing because each kit is a weapon swap.
Come April 15th, you will want one sigil to be corruption though. 25 stacks is > than what you typically get from superior rune of battle.

Bursting seems powerful until you run the math. It actually just provides 6% more condition damage. 6% of say 1700 condition damage is only 85. 3 might stacks is 105.

I may go Battle/Corruption come the 15th.

Hmm. Wasn’t thinking along those lines for a Condi Dmg engineer….but seen as I’m 9-months-out-of-game-rusty and I’m reading your signature I should probably give it some thought….

Thanks again Bombs, you’ve been a big help since I’ve been trying to re-educate myself.

I was really liking the look of sigil of Torment – however with the Battle sigil the 9sec cooldown on that would make it basically pointless? in between all my many kit swaps? Am i getting that right?

So yeah, Battle/Corruption looks like a good choice, pending any changes I haven’t heard about on 15th.
