PVE - Condition/Healing Engi - Rate Build?
what id run. Theme is the same, give boons with turrets, and provide general help. the problem is well… most groups dont want PURE support, and in pve(which is what mode you had tagged) Conditions are subpar, Elixer gun however is a really good kit that can go hybrid really well, 4 is a huge power skill as is 2, So I swapped your set to rampagers with Celestial acc, You keep conditions as a part of your build, but you do power damage too.
Thumper gives protection, but unless you place it when you NEED protection, its uptime is low, so its not really “on demand” and it has a long cd for using it in that manner, And while reflective turrets is a decent trait, I perfer elixer U for projectile block. And imo, using reflective you wanna lay down turrets and pick them back up, which does not synergize with the large buff upkeep givin with Experimental. Leave the reflects to a guard, or respec if you really need them.(or just slot elixer U.)
like I said, thumper CD is to long, protection to short. Fury on the other hand is a very useful boon, one of the best imo. And if you need blasts, rifle is up faster to blast with, AND provides several stacks of vuln whenyou overcharge it. Pistol offhand provides you burning, and an immoble/cripple, but you lose out on shield, which gives you a reflect, a block, a stun/daze and a blast finisher. Which is, imo too good to pass up. this build houses 5 blast finishers(not counting supply crate.) a fire field, a water field, a light field. So it can give up to 18 stacks of might if you are fast for 22 seconds to the whole team.
Basicly, long story short, power builds are whats cool, so you need some aspect of that in your build, and long cd turrets while strong, are generally yucky.
oh yeah, Water runes are better imo, synergizes well with water turret, and gives longer boon duration stats. Which means more fury/might up times. Sigils I didnt really know waht would work, so since you will be swapping for speedy kits anyways, might as well gain aoe bleeding and heals on swap. :>

Problem is pure support character is just waste of party slot in this game.
Tekkit’s Workshop
If running solo then whatever you think is fun is fine, but if you go into dungeons with this your likely to be more of a liability than a boon to the team.
Instead of support through heals, think support through offensive skills. Vulnerability(steel packed powder/precise sights),blinds(bomb/grenade kit/static shot)and might stacking in particular.
Your emphasis on condition damage and turrets also won’t help the team as both are lacking even when boosted by traits (the only turrets worth using right now is healing turret or thumper for quick might stacks)
Nobody can stop you from running a subpar build, but just remember that while you think that you’re doing good, you could be doing 5x better.
Thumper is great, however you’ll have to do something about that build. See Engis have terribly weak turrets and the moment that any AOE comes along they go poof. I’d suggest using things like the essentials. I rarely drop thumper as I use the instant AOE blast on the Fkey for mine, altho if you know an enemy is about to use an AOE that would destroy a turret quickly, you could always drop your heal, thumper and use rocketboots at the same time to create multiple blast zones.
I’d personally choose rocket boots instead of the FT turret (more blast finishers) altho if you’d like a turret there, you could always use a bit of CC especially with the weaksauce #1 skill of rifle.
Boones are a good idea especially if you like sharing the boons but if that’s solely for yourself you could choose a bit better for buffs. I’d also change the swiftness when switching between kits to swiftness on crit under the Firearms line because it happens more often than not. If you like swiftness get a sigil of speed and runes of speed it stacks like crazy when you have all three.
Hey Guys! Thanks for the tips thus far. I’ve been running what Dice Dragon suggested for a bit and it seems to be working pretty well. May try the other things you’ve all been saying too.
You want a good build?
Support, damage, utility, QoL improvements. Some small changes can be made, but this is what I currently run for almost everything.
Ronin your build is a great example as to why they should switch power and Malice in the trait system. Here we have a guy/girl asking for a good condi-healing build and there isn’t one that uses explosives because the condition damage increase is under Rifles.
This has been a problem since BWE2 they still haven’t changed it yet.
The build I use requires that you put full points into Inventions for the elixir infused bombs.
The trait that allows engi heals to be reset when reaching a certain % also needs an update because it’s not balanced, we have to wait until 25% while guardians and rangers only have to wait until 50%.
This class is a joke at this point because we can’t even fulfill the Arenanet roles.
that is a horrible idea. Just because a persona wants a healing build with conditions, by no means justifies changing the trait lines.

????
You can go condition bomb/EiB just fine. As matter of fact, going more then 2 in the explosions tree is useless since you want apothocarys, which gives you the three stats you get for going 2/6/6/0/0, what do you need from explosions past shrapnel? sure having lower cd bombs is nice, but its not 100% needed, and you dont need any of the grandmaster since you are not running grenades.
Eib? check, sick nasty heals.
Bombs have a 15% chance to bleed per tick, and on the low chance you proc more from crits, yay. They burn, and you can use toolkit for block(more tanking/defense kitten yeah.) ox of nails, more bleed, cripple AND whats that kitten, some sick nasty confusion even more so? this build can get like 10 stacks of confusion on a boss with maxed out condition damage. and bleeds and burns to go with it. and it has the typical blast finishers for stealthing for group or might stacking for more condition damage.
power shoes run real fast, etc. is a fine condition/heal build in pve if thats what you want.
The trait trees are fine and let you fill the persona of healing bomb condition build.
