[PVP] Dueling build
This is a tough one for me but I’d like to help get the conversation started.
I’ve focused on crowd control in pvp usually, but dueling solo is currently the hardest for me until I learn all the telegraphs and meta for this type of pvp. If I duel with a mesmer or a condition based necro, lately I get finished almost immediately, but It’s a war of attrition with other classes that I usually win.
I gave up on static discharge in dueling and juggernaut FT build isn’t really working out since conditions don’t care about your toughness. And juggernaut trait vs a sword thief can get you into lotssss of trouble since they can steal your might stacks easily. I’ve been having the most trouble out of torment recently (from all classes that can apply it) so much so that I’m adding the runes of tormenting to my build as soon as possible. Anti-kite tech on a kite/cc engi really throws a wrench in my plans.
As far as area denial in group pvp, I’m not bad at all, and in PvE I’m a decent aid to my team and can solo most non-dungeon content, but I haven’t mastered pvp duels just yet so I’m hoping some pvp pros can give input in this thread.
