I absolutely LOVE the Panscopic Monocle. But as I started out, I didn’t know there are very little if any items with it’s appearance so naturally when I got a better headpiece I threw it away since it’s starter armor.

Is there an item with the same or even similar appearance?

I think the headpiece of the rare noble “set” looks the same.

if i recall u will see it again at lvl 80.
im having one right now, at rare quality, crafted by myself..

I chose this monacle, i now have the noble one which replaced it.

I want the backpack, its just a shame it gets overridden by kits and shields

I think you can make a new engi, and trade the item to your old.

Several of the crafted helms are monocles. Not sure if it matches the art.

I chose the backpack to begin with, and as time has gone on, I have grown less and less attached to it. I decided I was going to try and get the monocle for him. I made a new engi character, and then went to the bank. Grabbed a random helm (I think it was a crafted white one…) and a transmutation stone, took the look of the monocle, stat of the other item, and then stuck that item in the bank. It says soulbound, but it is actually a soulbound on equip, not on acqure.

Hopped on my main, grabbed the monocle, transmuted my current helm with the monocle and put it on his head, worked perfectly.

I deleted mine as well. Customer service has no idea how to remedy the problem. However….

Brutus Tarsi is spot on. You need to roll another engineer and also put a transmutation stone and either a blue or white head piece in the bank. Then just transmute the headpice to look like the Monocle and you’re good to go.

Yeah, this works. Make a new engineer, buy any non-soulbound head gear, transmute the monocle on to it then put it in the bank for your old engineer to pick up.

There are a few monocle that can be crafted I prefer the level 80 one. like this

edit: there is a cool looking half skull face that can be crafted also

That isn’t an 80 Exclusive. :P

Anyway the Rare Noble helmet (8 of each fine crafting) is a monocle.

Thanks for all the input folks. Glad to see I’m not the only one diggin’ it. I think I’ll go with the “make new engie”, I don’t feel like getting a Rare armor piece. I just want the look

Ah, quite. Yes, gentlemen – the panscopic monocle is a brilliant and spiffy necessity for our personal kit. Why, only a rogue or a scoundrel would call himself a proper engineer without one… eh, what?

Backpacks, indeed. Pffft. We are not mules! We are men of science! SCIENCE!
