I still don’t trust these – it’s entirely possible, as it’s a fansite, that it’s just yanked from the ‘leaked’ notes and cleaned up a little. Also: I don’t see them so much as claiming that it’s from a playtest anywhere in that column (which appears to just be a list of trait changes).

Is there some sort of claim they’ve made about having playtested that I’m not seeing?

I hope they plan on adding a reasonable stun break. No way I am equipping a turret just for the tool belt skill.

Are people forgetting that the last big balance patchnotes were leaked nearly a week before release aswell, and turned out to be on the money?

Someone is getting these patchnotes out, we know this happens. And these look to clean and specific to be made as a joke by some fan.
My guess is these are legit.

I hope that these aren’t real. While some of them are quite interesting, the inventions line, which is easily the weakest line the engineer has, with almost entirely useless traits through-out, is baically untouched. Meanwhile the tool line, which is already very strong, receives updates?
Nah, I can’t believe that these notes would be real, that’d just be ludicrous.

aw come on, where is the inventions love A Net?

Overall this is good, but as wolfyrik already said, the inventions line needs some love because it is weak compared to the other lines.

It wouldn’t be a good joke it it doesn’t look legit is it?

If the leaked info is true though I would be devasted ( so devastated it became devasted ) Elixir R is no longer stun breaker ~

- I infract cause I’m passionate about the game-

Honestly, that’s the one turret I’ve been experimenting with even lacking a stun breaker. No other utility skill gives you three blast finishers! As if that wasn’t enough, you can use them in rapid succession (place turret, overcharge, explode, toolbelt).

I’ve been using this in conjunction with the bomb kit to great effect. Sure it requires being able to play a piano in order to pull off, but giving 12-15 stacks of might out to whole party for 20-30 seconds is worth it. When I can stealth a party for 12 sec every 50 sec just using blast finishers, this sure beats out a mesmer’s group stealth elite skill. Oh and if your party is taking too much dmg, drop your heal turret overcharge and blast out four to five area heals.

I think a lot of our versatility as engineers comes from combo fields and blast finishers. I was a bit excited to see this turret pick up a stun breaker as my build needs it and I’ve already been using that turret. I’ll really miss elixir r stun breaker though.

Welp. It appears I was wrong, and the patch notes are real.

No point dwelling on it; guess I’ll take advantage of Coated Bullets being Master.
