The pickup times on Rocket Turret and Thumper Turret are not consistant with the damage output they do. Seriously, and please no one come to this thread thinking that the 1 time use of skills that already have a large cooldown makes up for it, it doesn’t because those skills aren’t that powerful in the first place. If turrets were a real threat then I could see them doing this but they die in like 1 hit, they still aren’t protected like many of the pets in this game and the CD of 35 seconds is just not warranted.

There shouldn’t be more than a 5 second cooldown on a turret if you pick it up, 15 seconds if it gets killed.
Except for Healing Turret, as it is a heal it should stay on 15 seconds.

The turrets are smashed too fast to be of any real use.
Only when you kitten yourself by taking every turret trait you can get your hands on….then the turrets become wortwhile.

But I don’t see any change in the foreseeable future.

Turrets will, and should not, ever be a superior source of damage. That’s not what they are for.

The only times I see my turrets “die in 1 hit” is when I specifically place them in front of something or a huge boss AoE hits them.

Which I agree on, but as it is now…turrets aren’t worth having out at all unless you focus all your traits on buffing the turrets.

They take up a skill slot that could be used for something more important.
They are static, so moving from mob to mob makes them useless as they will be on cooldown most of the time.
They die too fast unless you babysit them.

Agreed- they’re not supposed to be the main source of damage, but an auxillary, stategic helper. I agree the pickup times could be brought down a bit but really turrets server their purpose pretty well.

And yeah, if they die in one hit and you’re not going 1vX that’s one high-damage attack that’s not being used on you or an ally while leaving the attacker open, or just lucky AOE coverage.

aoe gurdian sword or hammer or war hammer/bow or any other aoe
kill turrets in 3 seconds traited or not
if turrets were made for support, well its a useless support if they in cd every time u put it
