Hi all! Been scouring for some builds here and there. I’m planning on starting WvW with an engi and I really like bomb kit and was thinking tool kit would go well with it as well. I’ve actually found a build that uses both along with EG but it was a condi build, so I’ve been wondering would a power set up with the same kits work? I’m more interested on small group roaming/zerg than solo roaming btw.

I typically run this when I get tired of 3-kit condi. It’s a good all around build that’s great for small group play and pretty good for solo 1v1s. With the high CC and AOE, it handles most other power builds with ease, but as with most engy builds, condis are really its achilles heal.

I’m still torn on the citadel runes. With no other source of fury, it’s pretty huge for solo play, but all ruby orbs is pretty good too. Scholar runes can work in a group if you’re hanging back, but when you start diving into the fray with bombs to DPS things, they aren’t the best. You can also go rocket boots over rifle turret. You lose a bit of dps, but gain a ton of survivability.

Lots of launch, knockback, pull, very bulky and dealing steady decent damage. It’s awesome when you are trying to 2-man towers, since it lets you tank a lot and keep enemies off from your partner (setting thumper turret on your downed partner is a life safer; if you couple that with BoB, you should be able to ress anyone with no problem. Also, with all the blast finishers you have, comboing smoke bomb to get aoe stealth is another way to get around stability stompers).

Set your ram and start ramming that gate, while nearby mobs don’t do anything to you… and it’s fun throwing people all around

Definitely liking your build with the pull+nuke However, I’m pondering on whether to use celestial or maybe soldier. I like the idea for the thumper as well but it’s a bit too centered around it.

Although I see a lack of vigor for most of these, does that end up being a struggle or not so much? Thanks for the builds guys, might tweak around em

It’s up to you. I personally don’t mind running without vigor. Most of my builds don’t have it because I prefer to do other things.
