Got an exotic set of apothecary and clerics. Anyone have personal experiences with either as a solo roaming wvw bomb healer?? Pros? Cons?? Thanks!!!!

they both have fairly congruent value in my experience. I tend to favor conditions because i favor the pistol/shield combo over rifle. It really works either way. If I use apothecary, I like to use shrapnel to proc the 12s bleed with explosions and have 50% or more condition duration with rare veggie pizza, making it an 18s bleed.

Actually, only one bomb, the auto-attack, is power oriented. Fire bomb and Concussive bomb are almost purely condition damage, and Smoke bomb and benefit from neither power or condition damage, but are effected by condition duration.

Not really true at all, since 4 of the 5 skills apply conditions. Ill give you the auto attack is a lot more power oriented though, but you should only use it for speed running dungeons. Dont try the meta dungeon build in any pvp or wvw

Definitely perplexity, since the one thing it lacks is killing power. Definitely be going P/S route tho

So I finished up my apothecary suit and build last night using perplexity runes along with hydro and energy sigils. I’m also using master tuning crystals and rare veggie pizza for consumables. My heal power is only roughly 1181 , condition damage is only 1118 as well as power only being 1117. Is there any way to up my heal power and condition damage from there? My accessories are all apothecary and all exotic minus the back slot which I could not find apothecary so I had to get rabid. I’ve been out of the game for a bit so I’m a little new to some things like ascended gear. Is there ascended accessories that will yield me higher condition damage and heal power than exotic? Thanks in advance for everyone’s much appreciated advice.

Run condi, and pair it with Tool Kit.

Pry Bar + Concussion Bomb is a fairly good amount of condi burst through confusion, and you also have Fire Bomb for burning damage. You won’t apply as much condi pressure as the Grenade Kit will with bleeds, but you’re much more survivable.
