Can anyone confirm that the grenade barrage and wrench throw special effects were removed? I have been saving up for this legendary and am almost there and this changes a lot for me. As an Engineer, I am switching in and out of kits so the glow and footsteps is nice, but the toolbelt skills were the extra things that made this worth it to me.

Where did you hear that grenade barrage and wrench throw were removed? Sounds like you got trolled.

Grenade Barrage still has the plasma effect. It is the only toolbelt abilities that does.

False, it has no effect

I have the Predator. Grenade barrage still has the plasma effect assuming you don’t have a kit equipped (albeit not as noticeable of a color now, imo). All the other tool belt effects were removed. Also, abilities 3 and 4 on the rifle no longer have the effect. Not sure what that’s about.

Overall I think it was a good change, but I don’t get why they needed to remove some of the effects.

No point to remove our belt skill effect and rifle 3 4

If you put 30 point into explosion trait you’ll have your Grenade barrage effect back.

But it seems bugged on other projectiles

I don’t believe anet trying to remove those so
