With Burn the way it is and Stability Rifle 4 being so huge an opener, I’ve been (like most others) running an HGH FT build— but, more specifically, an Elixir Gun Juggernaut build with Elixir C to round it out. I’m very satisfied with it BUT I feel as though it’s not quite where it could 100% be on paper, so I’d like to ask for recommendations on how to eek out that last bit of power the build can offer.

The general idea is to stack 20~25 might during the 10 second countdown (all CDs will be refreshed before the first fight due to run speeds) and then buckle down with Med Drop, Super Elixir, Bunker Down, Backpack Regenerator and 25 Might+Stability FT, spiking down opponents with Rifle 3/5, FT 2 and Net+EGun 4 whenever possible (with a backup EGun stun break to make the combo possible). The build is excellent at decapping and actually quite hearty against conditions— only losing to Signet Necromancers that successfully corrupt your major condition wipe (Elixir C).

My main concern is that my exact implementation of the build feels a little short on damage. It can survive well enough, but if you can’t kill your opponent or cause them to rout, then it’s not doing its job.

Would any of these swaps be beneficial to the build?:
-switch Celestial amulet to something else (Sentinel + Intelligence sigil?)
-switch Hoelbrak rune to Strength rune (to REALLY lock in that constant rolling 25 Might— I typically have around 15~20 rolling unless I waste cooldowns)

Or perhaps there’s something else that I just haven’t thought of?

I love the build and I don’t see myself going back to MetaBattle’s Celestial/Soldier Rifle, but is there anything left to polish for Elixir Gun Juggernaut? Or if it really is perfect as-is, should I draft it up and post it there?

Switch Cele to Carrion, take Sigil of Smoldering instead of Sigil of Air, think about taking Runes of Balth instead of Strength or Hoelbrak because you should still maintain a good stack of might without the extra boon duration.

Notice that hgh and toolbelt CD reduction from tools stack on elixir f# skills. Very low stunbreak and moa…

I’ve been playing with the idea of using self regulating defence, swapping elixir s for rifle turret and selecting static discharge… But that’s 1 less stun break and the auto s can be more of a burden than a benefit.

In short, lots of might, fury, vigor, passive endurance regen, 3 stunbreaks (albeit one of those is auto proc)…

On a note, with 0 condi dmg and lots of might, burning still hurts.

Writing this mostly to document my train of thought…

After considering my options and testing them out very briefly, I think my first major shift will be the following:
Amulet: Celestial → Marauder
Sigils: Battle → Strength (Air is fine)
Rune: Hoelbrak → Strength

I’m sacrificing some condition resistance by swapping out Hoelbrak, but the total +45% Might duration and extra Might sources are giving me a stronger guarantee towards the damage I want. I’m getting about 4.5k~5.5k damage per FT1 auto with this setup while retaining the same Vitality pool.

I’m not sure why I originally chose Sigil of Battle over Strength when even with Celestial I was critting more than twice every 9 seconds. With Marauder that effect is only amplified.

Sentinel might be useful if I wanted to do nothing but bunker, but I don’t see it making sense due to the awfully low Ferocity (zero) and Intelligence Sigil cooldown (10s). It’s getting worse damage for marginal defensive gains, on a build that’s already not the greatest at it due to a lack of blocks.

With FT and Rifle both being very heavily focused on Power damage, I’m just not convinced that I should be building towards Condition damage strictly due to EGun 1 and Incendiary Ammo.

The total effective healing potential is being cut slightly, but I suspect living by the sword is better than dying with a slightly better bandage.

Thing is, E-gun is quite good for acid bomb. Can hit like a truck and healing power is still a bit underuseful… Is that a word? It is now!

actually FT is better with condi dmg i tried on my rabid gear im doing even more dmg in spvp and pve
