Specifically necros and condimesmers.

VS teams with a lot of necros/mesmers, I found useful to drop Bulwark and equip Elixir C, along with Adaptive Armor instead of Final Salvo.

But, if vs necro I can manage with some effort to keep up the fight (kiting, using C at the right moment, etc.), I’m having a really hard time when I face a condimesmer in 1v1.

I try to avoid the first two consecutive shatters, but after a while I find that the constant pressure is too much and usually get rekt even when using Elixir C (kittening Moa lol).

How do you deal vs those 2 builds especially in 1v1 situations on a point? Apart from the “avoid 1v1ing them and go somewhere else”. :>

I got to legendary playing mostly scrapper, so I have a lot of experience in these matchups.

You need to kite a necro around the point if he goes into deathshroud. If that means using sneak gyro, then use it. Use elixir gun to keep out of stealth. Once he runs out, slick shoes for easy damage.

Generally speaking, you won’t ever win a 1v1 a mesmer of equal skill. You can stalemate it, however. Don’t use your dodge on shield 5, you can literally turn the other way and it will miss. Dodge the immob on sword 3. Other than that it should be pretty smooth sailing provided you don’t get moa’d.

Also consider Lyssa runes, with sneak gyro they give you a good reset button vs condi bursts. Other than that, pretty much what ruru said.
