Hi,may know may not but i’m Cloud The Engineer and this is my build that i have been running with for pvp. I tried to take the weak spots of engineer and add to it so here is my build. http://intothemists.com/calc/?build=-VRw;2cP-9-l6gTFx0;9;4J99J928-5;05;008-5;0ho0;3jwmAjwmA0B I have been using it for about month now and had many people ask for my build well immobilize can be a big hit on a engineer and condi stacks so i added to them weakspots to make fun usage of build make sure to use Combos with bombs. Let me know what u think.

Balthazar runes with rabid amulet would be better.

A bit strange to see the celestial amulet on a pistol/shield bomb build; the only real source of power damage in there is the bomb autoattack. In my opinion, the rabid amulet would greatly increase your damage and overall effectiveness.

Additionally, Cloaking Device is a weird trait to take in PvP, since it will only make you lose the point you’re holding. I doubt that anyone will really fall for an engineer suddenly disappearing just as they land an immobilize, so you should expect them to just continue attacking the spot where you’re standing. If you drop it, you can put two points into Alchemy for Protection Injection or Explosives for Short Fuse (or even drop Hair Trigger and take both).

@mcef, that might be true, but many people try to land their immob at first, while our transmute is ready as well.
It is hilarious to go into stealth and gain swiftness, while watching them to unload on thin air.
Granted, it will not work always, but when it does, it gives you a headstart for the encounter.

Or, you know… just use block when you’re immobilized.

I very much agree with the general consensus that this build would benefit more from Rabid than Cele OP.

Cloaking Device is an incredible trait.

I would thoroughly recommend giving it a proper go, if you haven’t already.

I’ve found CD + Power Shoes in Inventions to be notably superior traits to the typical Speedy Kits/Power Wrench set-up in Tools. At least from a defensive perspective.

Cloaking Device i have found very helpful but i made the build to live a long time with killing.i have won so many fights that have been1v3 ALOT now but also for heal support for team if needed with the bomb combo gives team support as well but i mean if u want to change it go ahead i just was trying to get good survivability with good dps i mean i kill people fast as it and with out living most but i mean thanks for advise
