Heya!

As you probably know, grenades damage got reduced by 30%. But sigils now work with them.
I wonder now if it is a good or a bad change.

Superior sigil of earth, how does it work with grenades now?
Does it give a 60% chance on critical do apply bleed on every grenade?
Same with fire, is it chance for aoe flame burst on every grenade?
If the case is so, then the change is probably a dps boost.

If not, we’ll still be able to get some nice bonuses from few sigils, like weapon swap ones.

Sigil of Earth has a 2s cooldown and Air/Fire has a 5s, even though it doesn’t actually say so.

It says 5sec cd on fire/air iirc. Doesn’t say anything about cd on earth though.

I´m pretty sure it´s not 60% on every grenade, meaning only 1 out of 3 thrown grenades can trigger the bleeding only on 1 target before the internal cooldown hits in.

So probably not the best if you´re looking for area-damage.

My question was kind of if every grenade got a chance to apply it. Like when you use earth sigil in dual pistols.
Then it is 2×60% chance to apply bleeding if im not mistaken. But can’t get double proc because of the cooldown.

My point is that if every grenade got a chance to apply bleed, we’ll most likely get it to proc very often. I.E. Lot of bleed stacks from our spammable grenade attack.

That’s also a boost for me, as I decided to go for rabid ascended gear since knight doesn’t exist.
The flame aoe burst also hit for quite a lot iirc. Downside is its long cooldown.

That was two months ago. The change that made sigils affect weapon kit came yesterday I believe. :O
Elementalists attunements count as weapon switch, so our kits should too now. Imo.
