Question on condition duration.
It’ll round to the closest multiplicand of 0.25, so it’d round to 2.75 – but it would only tick twice, so effectively a two second burn. You’d only need about a 45% or so increase to make it reach 3 seconds, as it would then round up to 3 seconds, and you’d get 3 ticks. Easy way to test it is to put 20 points into firearms, take 20% longer burns trait, then adjust points into explosions while taking 30% chance of a 2 second burn trait, until you find a value that produces 3 ticks of damage instead of only 2.
That is correct. Another 2.8 second burn added to that would also make 5.6 seconds of burning, meaning a total of 5 ticks. Single stacks of something are simple. Multiple stacks of Burning and Poison are simple. Bleeding on the other hand…. actually has some weird rollover thing going on that I don’t fully understand even after testing.
When I tested it, everything was rounded down. It may have changed since then though. I tested it right up to 95% duration increases with the Warrior Sword bleeds at the time.

Tbh I’d like to see a statement from ANET on Bleeds w/condition duration. My line of thought would suggest that ANET would have to track how many times that bleed had been shot to add that next stack on if you’re not using a 50% increments.

Some general clarity on conditions in general would be nice, as all we have now is from testing. As indicated from Kamahl’s post and mine, that can produce different results for whatever reason.
