Guild Wars 2

Hi i got a lvl 40 engineer but i’ve been wondering if they are actually good in WvW Zerg.

For me it looks like engineer would be one of the best classes since they have so much supportive abilities and have huge AoE stuff to throw down. But some people say that engineer doesnt belong in the top 5 for WvW zerg gameplay.

Could someone give me some more information please?

I don’t WvW much, but I’d imagine with at least 10 in explosives for forceful explosives, 30 in inventions for elixir infused bombs and stabilized armor, and 10 in alchemy for protection injection, we would be quite useful. That said, the major downside is our lack of stability. Getting stunlocked and killed is not fun. If you have others to provide stability for you, though, we can certainly be of use.

nobody should ever go healing bombs. not in pve. not in wvwvw. not in tpvp.

anyway yes engineers are fine in wvwvw. probably one of the best roamers in the game.

I roam in WvW with an HgH Grenade Kit build. I stand far away from danger and collect many loot bags.
